How to Create a Google Account on a Cloud Phone with GeeLark
To create a Google account on a cloud phone, start an Android device in GeeLark, open Google Play, choose Create account, and follow the registration prompts shown on your screen, as illustrated in GeeLark’s walkthrough. Be prepared to complete verification: Google sometimes requires a phone check before account creation or sign-in, according to its account verification guidance.
This guide was prepared for AccsZone in collaboration with GeeLark. The walkthrough and screenshots come from GeeLark’s supplied demonstration; the explanations below distinguish that example from Google’s general account and recovery guidance.
In this guide
Before you begin
The example uses a Brazil-based proxy and a cloud phone displaying Portuguese. Treat it as a walkthrough of the supplied setup, not a requirement to use a Brazilian connection or a promise that your registration screens will match.
Prepare the following:
- GeeLark access: Have an account and install the desktop application from the GeeLark download center.
- A working connection: For the demonstrated proxy-based setup, have your proxy type, host, port, and any required username and password ready.
- Accurate account information: Use your own details when registering; Google explains that accurate information helps keep your account secure in its account creation guide.
- Access to verification: Be ready to use an eligible phone number if Google requests one; verification is sometimes required before account creation or sign-in (Google account verification).
- Recovery information: Prepare a separate email address you can access, and use a phone number you control if you add a recovery phone, following Google’s recovery guidance.
For long-term access, our recommendation is to avoid making a temporary SMS inbox your only way back into the account. Google recommends a recovery phone that belongs only to you and that you use regularly (Google recovery options).
Understand the two different phone numbers
A cloud phone’s generated number is not an SMS inbox: GeeLark explains that this number is part of the device information and cannot receive verification codes (GeeLark’s explanation). If Google asks you to verify by text message, use a number that can actually receive the requested message and that Google accepts (Google verification help).
Watch the accompanying video
You can open the partner-provided video tutorial on YouTube alongside this guide. Use the written instructions below to keep track of the setup and the verification limitations.
Set up your GeeLark Android cloud phone
Keep the cloud-phone setup separate from Google account registration. First configure and launch the device; then follow Google’s prompts inside it.
Create a clearly named profile
Open Profiles in GeeLark and select New profile. Add a name that makes the device easy to recognize later.

For consistency with the Brazil-based demonstration, you could use the following labels:
- Name:
Google-BR-1 - Group:
Google Accounts - Tags:
Google,BR - Remarks: A brief note about the device’s intended use.
Treat these as your own organizational labels, not a statement about the country assigned to a Google account. Avoid putting passwords or recovery codes in profile notes.

Add and check the proxy
In Proxy settings, enter the connection details or select a saved proxy. Choose Check proxy and review the result before continuing.
The supplied screenshot shows a Brazil-based connection, including its reported location and ISP. Use that result to check your configuration, not as proof that Google will accept a registration.

For more context, see AccsZone’s discussion of proxy setup and its limitations. Keep network configuration and account verification as separate checks.
Review the device settings
Choose the settings available in your current GeeLark application. The screenshot below illustrates the supplied demonstration, rather than a fixed configuration that every reader must reproduce.
- Charging method: Review the usage option before starting the device; consult GeeLark’s pricing page for current charges and plan conditions.
- Android version: Choose an available version suitable for your setup. Do not rely on the screenshot as a complete list of currently supported versions.
- Network setting: Review the Wi-Fi or cellular-network option shown in the interface. Do not treat a cellular label as proof that the device has a working SMS number.
- Phone number: Keep the generated device-information number separate from any real number used for Google verification.
- Location and language: Review the selected values. The supplied screenshot uses Based on IP for both settings.
- Device brand and model: Review the selected or random values, then choose Create when ready.

Launch the cloud phone
Return to Profiles, find the new device, and select Start. Once the Android home screen opens, locate Google Play.

Create a Google account on the cloud phone
The supplied walkthrough enters registration through Google Play and uses the Use phone option. Follow the choices actually available to you rather than trying to force the demonstration’s exact sequence.
Open Google Play and choose Create account
Open Google Play and tap Sign in. Select Create account, then For my personal use if you are creating your own personal account.
In the Portuguese screenshots, the relevant labels include:
- Fazer login: Sign in.
- Criar conta: Create account.
- Para uso pessoal: For personal use.
- Avançar: Next.

Enter your account details
Provide the information Google requests, such as your name, birthday, and gender, following its account creation guidance. Check your entries before continuing.
Choose an available sign-in option
In the supplied demonstration, GeeLark selects Use phone, shown as Usar celular. That is the route illustrated here, not an instruction to ignore other choices on your screen.
Google’s general account guide describes options that can include a suggested Gmail address, a custom Gmail address, an existing email address, or a phone number (Google account creation options). Choose an option offered in your own flow; if Use phone is missing, see the troubleshooting section below.

Complete verification if requested
If the screen asks for a phone number, enter an eligible number you can access and check the country code. Enter the verification code only into the Google prompt you initiated.
The supplied example uses a Brazilian number, but that observation should not be turned into a universal rule about which number every reader needs. Follow the current prompt and refer to Google’s verification guidance if the number is rejected or the message does not arrive.

Set a password and review the account
Create and confirm your password when Google prompts you; password creation is part of its general registration instructions. The supplied screenshots do not document every intermediate screen, so do not skip a required step simply because it is not pictured here.
The account-review screenshot shows a Gmail address for this particular demonstration. Record the address actually shown in your flow and check the details before continuing.

Finish the on-screen setup
Read any terms, privacy choices, and remaining prompts presented to you, and complete them only if you agree. Then confirm that Google Play is signed in to the account you intended to create.
The final supplied screenshot shows Google Play open with an account signed in. Treat that as the walkthrough’s completion check, then take a separate moment to secure your access.

Troubleshoot verification and different signup screens
A screen that differs from the tutorial is not, by itself, evidence that your cloud phone is configured incorrectly. Use the message shown by Google to decide what to check next.
The Use phone option is missing
GeeLark reports seeing Use phone in its Brazilian-proxy example but a different verification screen in a U.S.-proxy example (GeeLark’s reported observations). Those examples do not establish that proxy country alone caused the difference.
Continue with a supported option offered on your screen, or use another verification method if Google explicitly provides one. Do not assume that switching regions will unlock a particular signup route.

A verification code does not arrive
Google advises waiting a few minutes because text messages can be delayed, or trying the phone-call option where available (Google verification troubleshooting). Also check that you entered the intended number and can receive messages on it.
Google rejects the phone number
Google distinguishes between a number that “cannot be used for verification” and one that “has been used too many times,” and recommends using a different number for either error (Google verification errors). Use an eligible number you are authorized to access; the error does not establish that the cloud phone itself is faulty.
Google asks for a QR code or another device
GeeLark’s tutorial notes that a QR-code prompt may appear instead of direct phone-number entry (GeeLark’s verification FAQ). If that happens, follow the instructions on the Google screen and use only devices and numbers you are authorized to access.
Do not substitute the cloud phone’s generated number for a working SMS number. If none of the offered verification methods is available to you, pause rather than treating this tutorial as a way around the check.
Protect access after registration
Before relying on the new account, set up recovery information: Google explains that it can help if you forget your password, someone else uses your account, or you become locked out (Google recovery options). Complete the following checks while you still have access.
- Recovery email: Add an address you can access independently of the new account, using Google’s recovery-email instructions.
- Recovery phone: If you add one, use a number that belongs to you and that you regularly use, as Google recommends.
- Account records: Keep the correct sign-in address and password in a secure password manager, not in a shared screenshot or profile remark.
- Device access: Limit access to the cloud-phone environment to people you authorize. Review who can open the device before using it for sensitive account activity.
Frequently asked questions
Can I create a Google account without a new Gmail address?
Yes. Google allows you to create an account using an existing non-Gmail email address through its account creation process. The supplied cloud-phone example produces a Gmail address, but it should not be read as the only possible route.
Can GeeLark’s generated phone number receive Google verification codes?
No: GeeLark describes that number as device information rather than a real SIM number capable of receiving SMS (GeeLark’s cloud-phone tutorial). Use a working, eligible number if the Google prompt requires SMS verification.
How many Google accounts can one phone number verify?
Google confirms that it limits both account creation per number and repeated use for verification, but its help page does not give a universal numerical allowance (Google verification limits). Do not plan around a claimed fixed number of registrations.
Do I need the same Android version shown in the screenshot?
Treat the pictured version as part of the supplied example, not a requirement. Check the versions available in your current GeeLark application, and seek partner support if the interface differs.
Put the walkthrough into practice
Use this guide as a setup checklist: configure the device, follow Google’s available registration options, complete any required verification, and secure your recovery access. Keep the demonstration’s phone-number and screen-flow limitations in mind rather than expecting an identical result.
If this workflow fits your needs, create your GeeLark account and review the current product options before starting. Keep this AccsZone guide nearby while you work through the setup.
